Rich Prendergast and Bob Delany started CECO with a practical growth strategy: client-centered solutions and dependable service.
With years of experience and a powerful team of professionals from IBEW Local #134, they had everything they needed to jumpstart their business—except office space close to downtown’s most demanding clients. After a determined search through the Chicagoland area, they finally found the perfect space for their new company—an old bank vault in the basement of 200 W. Jackson.
More than a decade of growth later, CECO is in the same building, but now in a professional office space many floors up. Chicago Electrical Company has risen above a countless number of other electrical contracting companies and is now a major power player in the Chicago area.
